You are renting property for a duration of between 3 and 24 months.

In France, the tenant is obliged to do the following:

Take out a rental insurance policy (water damage, fire, etc.).
Take care of costs and carry out maintenance repairs to the accommodation.

their legal liability as tenant;
their personal possessions, as well as furniture, including that of the owner.
Directly corresponds with the length of the lease.
